The updated decision stems from shifting focus to its paid offerings. Peacock&#8217;s Premium Tier will offer 100,000 hours of content this year, including live sports and a roster of NBC classics like <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/category\/the-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Office<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The streaming service just reported its best quarterly result yet, with an added <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2023\/tv\/news\/comcast-q4-earnings-peacock-adds-five-million-subscribers-1235503031\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">5 million paying subscribers by the fourth quarter of 2022<\/a>.
