{"id":7199,"date":"2023-01-31T11:39:54","date_gmt":"2023-01-31T11:39:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gustavopineda.com\/?p=7199"},"modified":"2023-01-31T11:39:54","modified_gmt":"2023-01-31T11:39:54","slug":"the-white-lotus-murray-bartlett-armond-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gustavopineda.com\/?p=7199","title":{"rendered":"Murray Bartlett hints that his &#8216;White Lotus&#8217; character could still return"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><imgsrc=\"\" alt=\"A man sits on a talk show grinning.\"><\/p>\n<p>Everyone who&#8217;s seen Season 1 of <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/article\/white-lotus-season-2-ending-clues-opening-credits\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The White Lotus<\/em><\/a> will know that Murray Bartlett&#8217;s character, hotel manager Armond, is <em>probably<\/em> going to have a tough time popping back up again in a future series.<\/p>\n<p>But according to Bartlett, that possibility might not be so far flung after all.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When we were shooting <em>White Lotus<\/em>, the night before we started shooting we had this big dinner and Mike White, the creator, writer, director, extraordinaire of <em>White Lotus<\/em> made a speech and said, sort of jokingly, that whoever was the nicest person and the best actor gets a spinoff series. And so I was like, &#8216;Ooh, ooh, what about me?!'&#8221; explains Bartlett.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And he said \u2014 and I&#8217;m not going to hold him to this \u2014 but he said, &#8216;We could always go back in time.&#8217; So I think maybe like an Armond origin story?
