Getting dumped by the love of your life and having your home possessed by a demon, all in the same week.
That’s the premise of writer/director Emilly Hagins’ very silly looking horror-comedy Sorry About the Demon, in which Will (Jon Michael Simpson) enlists his friends to help him banish a malignant presence from his house that seems to want a human sacrifice — all while helping him navigate the heartbreak of his ex-girlfriend meeting a new guy.
Sorry About the Demon is streaming Jan. 19 on Shudder.
