Black Friday is already here at Best Buy: Save on Apple Watches, Breville smart toaster ovens, and more

UPDATE: Nov. 7, 2022, 12:50 p.m. EST This story has been updated with the latest and greatest early Black Friday deals at Best Buy.

Best Buy is once again scrapping the Black Friday playbook.

The electronics retailer previously revealed plans to offer Black Friday deals “almost every week” in the lead-up to its main event in November, citing a desire to bring shoppers “good tidings and great prices.” (And to compete with equally impatient competition, probably.) After a sneak peek in the form of a 48-hour flash sale on Oct. 11 and 12, the same days as the inaugural Amazon Prime Early Access Sale, Best Buy’s holiday discounts are officially in play as of Monday, Oct. 24.

That also marked the beginning of Best Buy’s extended holiday return policy: Almost any items purchased there from Oct. 24 through Dec. 31 can be returned through Jan. 14, 2023.

Best Buy has also decided to revive its Member Monday promotions throughout the holiday season. These one-day deals are exclusive to members of My Best Buy, its free loyalty program, and Best Buy Totaltech, a $199.99/year household membership program that unlocks premium perks like Geek Squad support, product protection, and free 2-day shipping. Several Member Mondays will further include private access to “some hard-to-find holiday gifts” for the Totaltech crew, according to a press release. (Oct. 31 and Nov. 7 both brought us PlayStation 5 restocks, FWIW.)

Shoppers trying to hatch a long-term game plan should note that Best Buy’s official Black Friday sale begins five days early on Sunday, Nov. 20, with Totaltech and My Best Buy members gaining access even sooner (on Nov. 17 and 18, respectively). The retailer will switch to Cyber Monday mode on Sunday, Nov. 27.

In our humble opinion, however, it would be wise to get the earliest head start possible: Best Buy’s Black Friday deals are available in limited quantities with no rainchecks, and if an item sells out at any point these next few weeks, it may not get restocked during the main sale. (Another thing to keep in mind: The retailer’s price-match guarantee is null and void from the Friday before Black Friday through Cyber Monday.)

We’ll be keeping a running list of Best Buy’s most “worth it” early Black Friday deals below in case you don’t feel like poring through its ever-changing listings yourself. Be sure to note the freebies it likes to toss in on top of regular discounts, which other retailers don’t match. Any newly added or updated deals have been marked with a ✨, while deals with a strikeout were either sold out or expired at the time of writing. Anything marked with a ⏰ is/was a limited-time Member Monday promotion.
