‘Skinamarink’ trailer teases a very low budget, very creepy horror

Big budget special special effects are all very well and good, but you don’t necessarily need to them to give your audience the creeps.

We’ve seen this in the past with movies like Zoom horror Host, and it looks like Skinamarink — a $15,000 micro-budget horror written and directed by Kyle Edward Ball — will only re-enforce the possibility.

Following two children who wake in a house to find their parents gone and the doors and windows missing, the trailer features numerous shots of dark corridors and a very creepy, disembodied voice.

Skinamarink is coming to theatres Jan. 13, and will be available to stream on Shudder later in the year.
