Simply being alive right now requires almost everyone to have access to a laptop for one reason or another. What isn’t a necessity, though, is paying MacBook-esque prices for one — especially during Cyber Week season.

When 1 TB of storage, a desktop-level processor, or a zippy gaming-specific graphics card simply aren’t specs you’d take advantage of daily, you should definitely look into a Chromebook. This backup system, as well as the fact that Chrome is less frequently targeted by malware than Apple or PC devices, makes them the perfect device for paranoid internet users of any age.
