For many shoppers, Apple is the be-all, end-all of consumer tech. And if you’re already a ride-or-die Apple loyalist, then we’d recommend checking out this Apple accessories deal instead. For everyone else, Samsung has been coming at Apple’s throne. Samsung has always produced some impressive gadgets, but in the last few years, the company has seriously stepped up its game. Just look at the Galaxy S23 smartphones, Samsung’s luxury Bespoke Appliances, or the company’s impressive short-throw projectors. Naturally, the company has a great tablet, and as of this writing, it’s on sale.
Currently, Best Buy is running a flash sale on Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5-inch Android tablets, and Amazon has dropped prices to match. Right now, you can buy these popular Samsung tablets for just $169.99, down from $229.99. The Best Buy discount is scheduled to end at the end of the day, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Amazon raises prices at that time as well. This isn’t the lowest price ever for these tablets (that came during Black Friday 2022), but according to the price-tracking tool CamelCamelCamel, these Samsung tablets are typically priced at $192 or higher.
The Galaxy Tab A8 tablets come in three different colors and feature a 10.5-inch LCD screen that’s great for streaming. Qualifying shoppers will also get free access to Youtube Premium (this offer is only valid if you’re a new Youtube Premium subscriber) and Samsung TV Plus. So, if you’re looking for a new tablet for your kids or want to watch your favorite content on the go, this is a great tablet for everyday streaming.
The Tab A8 comes in a few different configurations, all of which are on sale as of this writing. If you primarily want to use your new Samsung tablet for accessing the internet, streaming, and taking notes, then we recommend the basic 32 GB version. However, if you want to use these tablets as a laptop alternative, then upgrade to the 64 or 128 GB version, which are also on sale for a limited time.
