Bridgerton is back, and we couldn’t be happier.
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story is a prequel about the marriage between young Charlotte (India Amarteifio) and King George (Corey Mylchreest), and while the spin-off blesses us with all the steamy romance we adore, it also offers an incredible soundtrack.
Maintaining the series’ tradition of giving modern music a Regency twist, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (Covers from the Netflix Series) is packed with orchestral versions of pop anthems. From Beyoncé’s “Deja Vu” and “Halo” to SZA’s “Nobody Gets Me,” as well as pop classics like Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” the new Bridgerton soundtrack is brimming with bangers. The highlight is Alicia Keys’s “If I Ain’t Got You,” featuring Queen Charlotte’s Global Orchestra, a 70-plus piece orchestra made up of women of color.
Netflix has also released the show’s entire score by Kris Bowers, in case you feel like lending some classical vibes to your everyday routine.
If you’re ready to waltz away, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (Covers from the Netflix Series) and the show’s original score are available to stream on all digital streaming platforms.
