The short film Strange Way of Life boasts an incredible team-up between legendary director Pedro Almodóvar and stars Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke.
Based on the teaser trailer, this already-iconic trio delivers a twist on old Westerns full of blood, gunfights, and juicy melodrama.
“You never loved me, you never loved anyone in your life,” spits Pascal’s cowboy character Silva at a pivotal moment in the trailer.
“Don’t say that,” Hawke’s Sheriff Jake responds, pointing a gun right in Silva’s face.
The drama of it all! Consider me seated.
Strange Way of Life will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
